Timings
Operating days: Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday only (closed Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday).
Operating hours: 5:30 PM to 11:30 PM.
Show times: The main River Carnival Parade Show begins at 8:30 PM (paradium gates open around 8:00 PM), lasting about 45–50 minutes. On select busier dates, an additional earlier show runs at 6:30 PM.
Best time to visit: This is inherently an evening attraction — arrive right at opening (5:30 PM) or at least 60–90 minutes before your chosen showtime, to explore the park, enjoy the buffet dinner, and secure good seats before the crowds settle in.
Time needed: Most visitors spend 3–4 hours at the park to comfortably cover dinner, the parade show, and the Kingdom of Lights afterward.
Best season: November to February (Phuket's cooler, drier peak season) for the most comfortable evening weather; April to October is quieter with fewer crowds and possibly better deals, though it's an indoor/covered venue so weather has less impact than at outdoor attractions.

Good to Know
Location: 999, Kamala, Kathu, Phuket — about 26–27 km / 30–55 minutes from central Phuket.
Photography: Photos are generally allowed, but flash photography and video recording are restricted during the main performance; cameras/recording devices may need to be stored during the show.
Dress code: Casual and comfortable; bring a light jacket, as evenings can feel cooler, especially in air-conditioned indoor sections.
Good for: Families with children especially — some reviewers note the park leans heavily toward kid-friendly content, so couples or solo travelers without kids may want to weigh this against other Phuket nightlife options.
Nearby alternative: Phuket FantaSea, a similar cultural night show, operates on the alternating days (Tuesday, Friday, Sunday) right next door — worth checking if your dates don't align with Carnival Magic's schedule.
